Yes - it has been a happy writing day. I opted to go to a local cafe by Edmonds to write. I wasn't being as successful when writing at home. I figured that a change in scenery could jumpstart the word flow.
It worked great. I had 1207 words today for my total of 5360. I plan to go back to the same cafe on Wednesday.
I'm also working on streamlining my errands and "must do's" on one day so that I can concentrate on writing the majority of the days.
I had such a productive day that I didn't want to stop - but of course, life and mommyhood called my name. I do feel re-energized even if I don't know exactly where my story is going.

ReplyDeleteI wrote just a few hundred today which puts me at 19879. I also read up to page 44 in my own book which gives me a little perspective to keep going.
